Whether it be on a roadside or in a town square, the image of the old Tibetan woman at the temple was impressed upon Malcolm's memory. He played witness multiple times during his upbringing in Northern India and Nepal, witness to the woman practicing the age old ritual of spinning her prayer wheel, a practice of releasing her daily prayers to her heaven.
